"Stay WILD my LOVE"
What is the Wedding theme?
The wedding theme is a DARK FANTASY and our wedding saying is "Stay Wild, My Love." Now when I say dark fantasy I do not mean "Evil", which is what my mother first thought. What I mean by dark fantasy is a moody toned fantasy ball. Picture fantasy creatures gathering from all over the world to meet in the woods for a ball. Very romantic, candle lit, woods, and edgy is the vibe I am shooting for.
Where is the Wedding?
The wedding will be held on my family's home ranch Leonard Creek. The ranch is about 90 miles north of Winnemucca, NV. The address is 19210 Leonard Creek rd. Winnemucca, NV 89404. The drive is an hour and a half from Winnemucca. The actual ceremony will take place at the family fishing pond and the reception will be in a yard/meadow. The "after" afterparty beginning around 10 PM will be in a nearby meadow. For previous three years October 3rd has been in the 80s for a high and the 40s for a low weather wise.
What should I wear?
The theme is dark fantasy. I request guests to wear semi-formal to formal. However, I want you to have total freedom of what you wear as long as it fits in the semi-formal/formal range. If you want to accessorize crazy DO IT! If you want to upstage me DO IT! Keep in mind that the after party will have foam machines, lots of glitter and confetti; if you would like to bring an outfit change for the night club that I am making you can do so, example: rave outfit. Also keep in mind that the temps will drop at night and bring a coat.
Where do I stay?
Leonard Creek Ranch is an hour and a half drive from Winnemucca. Winnemucca has plenty of hotels. But...this a camping wedding. We have RV hookups for electricity and power and plenty of beautiful locations for tent camping. RVs and camp trailers will be parked either in a meadow or in the hay fields. Tent camping will be in different meadow with creek access. If you do decide to bring an RV please fill out the form below so we can have a count of how many RVs and camp trailers. Family members and the wedding party will have primary access to electrical and water hook ups. We only have so many hook ups; so if you have your own generator please bring it with your trailer.
What do I bring?
IF camping please bring any gear needed for staying overnight. Please bring a coat for the
evening, the music will be playing until roughly 3 AM. You may also want to bring a change
of clothing for the AFTER AFTER party! We will be serving a steak dinner, adult beverages,
dessert, coffee bar and a late night meal. Bring any food that is needed before or after the
celebration.
What are the wedding colors?
Wedding colors: Charcoal Black, Emerald, Sage Green, Burgundy, Ivory and Antique Gold.
